Research interests:

My research focusses on the magnon-phonon interaction in ferromagnetic systems. In particular, I investigate how the interaction with surface accoustic waves can be used to control the magnetization dynamics.  Moreover, I am also interested in understanding the role of tthe magnon-phonon interaction in the magnon damping. 

Key research areas:

Magnon-phonon interaction: Magneto-elastic and magneto-rotation coupling and transfer of angular momentum between the spin and lattice system.

Quantum geometry:  Effect of a non-trivial magnon geometry in the magnon-phonon interaction.
