Research interests:
Topology and transport of bosonic quasiparticles (magnons and phonons) in magnetic insulators.
Using microscopic models and symmetry principles, I study the emergent properties of collective excitations in complex magnetic phases—including noncollinear antiferromagnets, Kitaev magnets, altermagnets, and odd-parity-wave magnets. My primary goal is to bridge microscopic theory and macroscopic observables to identify unique, experimentally accessible signatures.
Key areas of investigation include:
- Topological Magnonics: Developing novel detection methods for topological magnons.
- Magnon-Phonon Interactions: Understanding how hybridization impacts the thermal Hall effect and phonon angular momentum.
- Spin Transport: Investigating the fundamental nature of magnon spin and its associated transport properties.
