Physics teachers are trained for all types of schools at the Department of Physics at the University of Muenster. In physics lessons, teachers face a major challenge: The subject of physics is unpopular, it is considered difficult. Girls in particular often don't feel addressed. How can physics teaching be improved and what difficulties do students have in learning physics? These are questions that physics didactics deal with in teaching and research, among other things.
