The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the interdisciplinary research group “Legal and Social Consequences of Machine Decision-Making” with €4.5 million for an initial period of four years. As part of this research group, the OWM Chair is investigating possible prerequisites for the use and acceptance of artificial intelligence in criminal proceedings in the subproject “Possibilities and Limits of Machine Decision-Making in Criminal Proceedings.” We are working closely with legal scholars Prof. Michael Heghmanns (University of Münster) and Prof. Frank Zimmermann (University of Freiburg) on this project.
The 3rd Theory Building Workshop of the DGPs Working Group on Work, Organizational, and Business Psychology in Münster was once again very inspiring and fruitful. Many thanks to all participants, especially Matthew Cronin from George Mason University as facilitator.
