Two OCC Members Granted University of Münster Research Awards

We are delighted to announce that two members of the OCC have been recognized with this year’s prestigious Research Awards from the Universitätsgesellschaft Münster, each endowed with a prize of €5,000:

Dr. Susanne Meinert conducts research at the intersection of neuroscience and psychotherapy, seeking to uncover how mental illnesses—such as depression—develop and cause changes in the brain.

Dr. Daniel Kluger’s research focuses on brain-respiratory coupling, illustrating how the interplay between breathing and brain activity plays a key role in conditions such as anxiety disorders and epilepsy.

We warmly congratulate both awardees on their outstanding achievements!
