Welcome!

Network Mass Spectrometry

Our Network Mass Spectrometry brings together scientists from diverse fields such as chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, biology, physics and geosciences. Basic scientific research as well as innovative technology go hand in hand with the implementation of mass spectrometry for the work on complex questions.

The network offers ideal conditions for intensive exchange, supports interdisciplinary collaboration and allows for the joint use of a large number of highly sensitive instruments.

Cross-faculty events offer a view over the horizon and a plattform for exchange of research results in order to spark new interdisciplinary projects.

A wide range of instruments, localized in the laboratories of collaborating working groups, is available to scientists of the University and guests. With this structure, a unique variety of analysis strategies can be offered to mass spectrometry users. The science infrastructure of the University of Münster is optimized efficiently.

Membership Application

All members of the University of Münster who operate one or more mass spectrometers (measure on a MS, are active in the field of MS and/or are responsible for a MS) and who belong to one of the following groups: professors, students, academic employees or management, support & technical staff can become members of the mass spectrometry network (Netzwerk Massenspektrometrie). The application for membership must be made informally in writing to the coordinator or the board. You are also welcome to use the following email tool directly. If you submit an application, we assume that you have read the rules of procedure and the user regulations of the mass spectrometry network (Netzwerk Massenspektrometrie).

After your application for membership has been reviewed by the board, you will receive a notification.
