Documenta grant from the University of Münster
documenta 15 opens on June 18. ruangrupa, an artists' collective, has based the exhibition on the idea of the lumbung, an Indonesian rice barn where common wealth is stored and communal concerns are negotiated. Committed to the principle of sustainability, the exhibition and its ideas are intended to have an impact beyond the official end of the exhibition on September 25. This is the starting point of the documenta grant offered by the University of Münster in 2022:
This grant of 1,500 euros each will enable two students from the University and/or the Münster Academy of Art to spend several days in Kassel. The documenta team will establish contact with various artists* and projects. The goal of the scholarship is to let an aspect/project from Kassel live on in Münster and present it to a broad audience at the university's "Campus Earth 2022" on October 20, 2022. This can be done as a report, a re-enactment or in another form. It is also conceivable to invite guests to Münster.
