Münster Student Orchestra
Whether solo concerts, symphonic works, contemporary compositions or works from dance, theater, film - the Münster Student Orchestra (SOM) is musically top fit, unconventional in its programming. Founded by students of the Westfälische-Wilhelms University, the SOM has been firmly in the saddle since 1976. It quickly established itself in the cultural life of the university as well as the city. 75 members - students of the university, the Münster University of Music as well as professionals - eagerly await the semi-annual final concerts in training phases and rehearsals.
