Young Symphony Orchestra

The Junge Sinfonieorchester consists of around 85 music-loving students and alumni from all faculties. With its high musical quality, attractive concert programs and first-class soloists, the Junge Sinfonieorchester aims to contribute to the university's cultural image. Great symphonic works of the 19th and 20th centuries form the core repertoire, such as symphonies and solo concertos by Brahms, Schumann, Dvořák, Rachmaninov, Sibelius and Shostakovich. The group is always interested in meeting new instrumentalists from all instrumental groups.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings.
