Debating Club
Debating is the trend at German universities. Unlike in a discussion, one does not seek consensus in a debate, so arguments clash without compromise. The goal of a debate is to inspire the audience and convince them of one's own point of view. In doing so, rhetoric, presentation and analysis skills are specifically improved. In university debating, the competition follows clear rules, which are easily learned. Individual feedback after each debate allows for rapid progress in performance. Students of all majors are welcome!
