The Café Weltbühne (World Stage)
The whole world under one roof - that is our motto! Café Weltbühne has been part of the ESG-Haus since 1991 and has become a special meeting place in the neighborhood. Students meet here for lunch, but also people who live and work in the neighborhood feel at home with us. Here you can enjoy coffee specialties, relax and talk to interesting people. Our range of food is sourced from regional cultivation and fair trade whenever possible. Café Weltbühne owes its name to the weekly magazine for politics, society and culture "Die Weltbühne", founded by Kurt Tucholsky and Carl von Ossietzky. Young artists and initiatives are given space here for exhibitions and cultural events.
