Petri Church

The Petrikirche, built between 1590 and 1597, is the only remaining original building of the University of Münster. Today, however, it is no longer used by the university, but is available to the Catholic student congregation and the Gymnasium Paulinum as a place of worship. The organ was built in 1962 as a pure slider chest organ by the organ building company Breil according to a disposition design by Rudolf Reuters.
In addition to church services and weddings, mainly sacred concerts are held here.
