    Hannah Ötting works as a research associate in a third-party funded research project on dealing with communicative violence in online spaces, led by Prof. Dr. Nina Springer. From 2020 to 2023, she studied Global Mass Communication at Leipzig University and Journalism at Ohio University, Ohio, USA. She completed her undergraduate studies from 2017 to 2020 at the University of Münster, where she pursued a dual-major Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and American and English Studies. Together with Lena Zils and Till Steiniger, she serves as an equal opportunities officer at the Department of Communication.
