    Anastasia Glawatzki is a research associate in the department of Media Sociology and Sustainability under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sigrid Kannengießer. After having studied communication science at the University of Münster from 2019 to 2022, she completed her master's degree in the same subject from 2023 to 2025. She received funding from the German National Academic Foundation for both degree programmes. Alongside her master’s studies, she worked as a research assistant in the the department of Media Sociology and Sustainability, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Sigrid Kannengießer and Dr. Anne Mollen on projects addressing digitalisation, sustainability, and generative AI, with a particular focus on the socio-technical imaginaries of AI companies in relation to sustainable generative AI. Her master’s thesis examined anthropomorphising socio-technical imaginaries of AI companies.
