*uniGPT Übersetzung (https://translate.uni-muenster.de/)* is currently being gradually integrated into the Imperia software. In the future it will be available within the university network to all users of Imperia for automatically translating web texts. Anyone who wishes may test this function now on request (contact: web.team@uni-muenster.de).

After activation, translation buttons will be displayed in the edit area next to text input fields. If a field is already populated, the button will be greyed out. To create a new translation, the existing text must be deleted. The button can then be clicked again. This ensures that edited translation texts are not simply overwritten by uniGPT with the press of a button.

2. The English Support Service also provides guidelines for pre‑ and post‑editing of AI‑translated texts (german only) on their web pages Handreichungen zum Pre- und Postediting von KI-übersetzten Texten (Handreichung 9: Handreichung KI-generierte Übersetzungen; Empfehlungen zur maschinellen Übersetzung).
3. Please mark the pages on which you use AI‑translated texts. We are working on an automatic labelling that can be removed again after proofreading by the English Support Service.
