The new Rectorate will begin its work on 1 October 2026. At this time, the legal notice pages in our web offering must be adapted and Rector Professor Menzel-Riedl must be named in the legal notice. As this change must currently be carried out manually by the respective editors in the various appearances of the University of Münster, we ask you to implement this in your areas of responsibility by the deadline.

New Imperia flex module "Legal disclosure"
Please take this opportunity to insert the new Imperia flex module "Legal notice" into your legal notice document. This will allow us to implement such central changes automatically in the future. You will find the instructions for the legal notice module on the following page:

If you use the new flex module, you only need to enter the person responsible according to Section 18 (2) of the Interstate Treaty on Media (Medienstaatsvertrag – MStV) in the module. This is usually the head of the institution of the University responsible for your web presence. You can enter this manually or import the person from existing CRIS or HIS data. Rector Professor Menzel-Riedl will be entered by us upon taking office on 1 October 2026, so that your legal notice will then display the name correctly. For further details, you can of course add or retain further flex modules in your legal notice as before.
