Updated mobile navigation
On 30 June we will go live with a revised version of the mobile navigation. The aim is to achieve at least a few improvements in terms of optics and usability on mobile devices by the actual relaunch of our websites.
We have pursued the approach of implementing this with as little technical effort as possible and, in particular, without any further work on the part of the editors (such as reparsing). The basis remains the currently used HTML code and the scripts/functions generally used; only styles (CSS) have been revised and a few scripts added.
This way, we can realise these changes solely through the deployment of new, central CSS and script files. In most cases, it will therefore not be necessary to reparse or republish pages. It may take a few seconds, and occasionally the browser cache may need to be cleared, but generally, the change should become visible quickly.
You can find an overview of optical adjustments, functionalities and known weaknesses here:

As soon as the data for the navigation has gone live, please test the navigation of the area for which you are responsible. For this, it is best to use a mobile device (mobile phone) or simulate a device via the responsive mode in a browser (for Firefox: see here; for Chrome: here; for Edge: here).
If you notice any errors (FB logo is not displayed, buttons are dysfunctional, etc.), please document these with screenshots and detailed descriptions (URL, actions performed) and share everything with us via an email to our ticket system.
