PHP-based contact form will be switched off as early as 10.10.22

Due to increasing spam mail problems in connection with the outdated PHP-based contact form, WWU IT and the Web and Design Office have decided to shut down the contact form in 4 weeks (on 10.10.2022). All links to this form will be redirected to an error page by the deadline. Please therefore change links to the contact form, if you have not already done so, to a direct link to your e-mail address in the form "mailto:IhreMailadresse@uni-muenster.de".

Notice:

Only the PHP-based contact form is affected. You can recognise it in your web browser by the first part of the URL (to "kontakt.php?empf="): https://www.uni-muenster.de/UVD/kommentieren/kontakt.php?empf=niko.gebauer&k=1.

The mailback form (https://www.uni-muenster.de/IT.Technik/WWW/Mailback.html), however, will not be switched off! In Imperia, this is usually used in the form of HTML code in the text editor module and displayed in the content area of a page. The mailback form is the alternative if a simple e-mail link in the form mailto:IhreMailadresse@uni-muenster.de is not sufficient.

If you have any questions, please contact or.support@uni-muenster.de.

Further information can be found in the Imperia circular dated 12.5.2022:
