Impersonal IDs
Non-personalised identifiers can be requested in the IT portal. These are useful, for example, for an institute's own email address or the organisation of a meeting or conference. Impersonal identifiers offer an efficient way of managing certain tasks or organisational processes. A distinction is made between pure e-mail identifiers and function identifiers. While pure e-mail IDs can only be used for e-mail traffic, function IDs also allow access to other university services such as files, calendars or internal applications.
Note:
The person making the request should be permanently employed by the university (no SHK), as the identifier is permanently linked to the person, but can be transferred later. In addition, the OTP (one-time password) can only be set in your own IT portal by the person who has the ID.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Request impersonal IDs
Choose role and function
In the first tab, select Impersonal. Select Administrative ID as the role.
For the group, specify whether the identifier is a pure email identifier or a function identifier.
For a pure e-mail ID, select the group u0v1mail = Unpersönliche Email-Kennungen im Bereich der IVV1 / Support.
For a function ID, select the group u0v1funk = Unpersönliche Funktionskennungen im Bereich der IVV1 / Support.
If you are unsure which group you should apply for membership for, please contact IVV1.
After choosing the group go on by clicking on Continue.© IVV1 Purpose and name
On the next page, you must explain the purpose of the identifier and enter your first name and surname. As this is an impersonal identifier, you should of course not enter your first name and surname. Instead, use the example given in the form as a guide (first name: Institute of, last name: Physical Theology). You can also request a university identifier. However, your function should be reasonably recognizable from the identifier.
For group leader, select the option ivv1 = IVV1 Support.
You can then send the application. You may be contacted by IVV1 with questions that need to be clarified.© IVV1
