Between 08:00 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. today, the use of Sciebo at the Münster site was impaired; the shares of folders and project boxes were lost. The disruption has now been resolved and the shares should now be restored. If necessary, you have to trigger the synchronization again manually.

In the period from approx. 9:15 to 10:15 the central mail system (reception, dispatch and retrieval) was disrupted. During this period, some incoming mails were returned to the senders as undeliverable.
Due to current developments, the WWU IT building at 60 Einstein Street and the services offered on site will be closed as early as Wednesday 12/16/20.
This week we are still available at the usual times by phone and email, from 21.12.20 the already published times on the WWU IT main page apply.
For operational reasons, the service desk of the WWU IT building at Einsteinstraße 60 will close as early as 4:00 pm on 12/15/20.

From 09.11.2020 to 13.11.2020 it was not possible to register and process data at CRIS.WWU. The access to CRIS.WWU was blocked in order to transfer data to a new version of the system. The maintenance work has now been completed.

On October 21, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. the older telephone system of the University/University of Applied Sciences Münster will be updated. This may result in temporary failures in the telephone service. The affected telephones are the Sopho Ergoline. Not affected are the telephones of the type Unify.

Until about 12:50 today, system failures occurred. The malfunction has now been rectified.
Up until the morning of 09.10. there were isolated impairments when logging in to the Adobe Creative Cloud. The problem should now be solved.
On 14.10.2020 between 7:00 and 7:15am maintenance work will be carried out in the OpenVPN area. Existing VPN connections with the OpenVPN client will be briefly interrupted during this time and then automatically reestablished.

As announced some months before and following the redommendations of our team "IT-Security", the outdated protocols TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will be fully deactivated on thursday, 01/08/2019, 4p.m. on our Webservers. That means that very outdated webbrowsers will not be able to load content of www.uni-muenster.de and several other servers.
