Idea and target group of the program

"Erstklassig!" (First Class!) is a scholarship program with a duration of 18 months. It is aimed at outstanding female postdocs, habilitation candidates and junior professors in all departments of the WWU and offers them targeted support on their way to a professorship.
The program is designed to enable the exchange of experience and the transfer of know-how with experienced female professors, to support the participants own career planning, and to prepare them for research and leadership tasks. At the same time, collegial advice and networking with other outstanding female scientists are also to be promoted.
