  • Advice from former students

    Studies

    • Mostly lectures, each of which runs for 4–6 hours per week -> fewer courses to attend; five is already the upper limit of what’s feasible (as of 2022)
    • You must organize your own schedule: rooms and times may still change at short notice before the semester begins
    • For exams, there are two dates per semester to choose from (as of 2022)

    Other

    • The university offers free Italian language courses to its international students in September and February
  • Further information

    Acceptance: high

Finances: A relatively low cost of living, since it's not very touristy

Housing: There are a few spots in dorms, but you'll often have to rely on Facebook groups to find private housing—which isn't too difficult, though. Otherwise, check into a hostel first and start looking for a place from there.

Support from the host university: "Ufficio Mobilità Erasmus": friendly, reliable, and fast; otherwise, you're pretty much on your own when it comes to organizational matters—staff usually respond very late, and there's little information available before the semester abroad begins
