Further information
Acceptance: unfortunately no non-Geoscience students
Finances: Unfortunately, there is no empirical data or information from the university yet; the cost of living is likely comparable to that in Germany, perhaps slightly higher
Accomodation: There are three student dormitories in Klagenfurt; prices range from 250 € (for a double room) to just over 350 € (for a single room, either in a shared apartment or as a private room with a private bathroom, or a private apartment with a private bathroom and kitchenette). I have no firsthand experience with the availability of private housing in Klagenfurt.Support from the host university: Very good! From the very beginning, the staff at the Office of International Relations have provided comprehensive and personalized support. In addition, the Austrian students in the “Entrée” group organize many activities for international students.
