Advice from former students
- Fascinating areas of research such as identity and space or gender geography
- Courses such as ‘Fondements théoriques de la géographie sociale et culturelle’, ‘Espace, Identité, Mémoire’ and ‘Principes de géographie politique’ from the ‘Géographie sociale, culturelle et politique’ module are interesting seminars; ideally, they should be taken together as some build on one another
- The Master’s programmes in Geography are not open to international students
- You have relatively free choice when selecting courses; if places are available, you can also take courses in other faculties
- Choosing courses can be somewhat tedious, as the allocation of places takes a long time and there are frequent changes
