Centre for Asian Studies at the University of Münster

The Asian Studies Centre is based at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Münster and was founded in 2024. It aims at networking scholars, students, and employees interested in Asia, who do research on Asia, or who are from Asia, to bundle their wide-ranging interests and competencies and make use of otherwise unknown synergies

Certificate Course "Religion and Politics"

Beginning in the winter term of 2024/25, the Cluster of Excellence will introduce an interdisciplinary certificate programme titled ‘Religion and Politics’, in which students can acquire additional skills alongside their regular studies.

Courses of interest offered by other institutions

The Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies is offering a certificate course in Islamic law in the up-coming winter semester. The course is open to students from other disciplines who want to familiarise themselves with the basic concepts of Islamic law.
