Nils Hientzsch

Nils Hientzsch is pursuing a degree in Music and German education and received his vocal training from Susanne Schlegel, Annette Kleine, and Fritz Steinbacher. He has gained formative musical experience since childhood in various choral ensembles—including a choir led by Ute Debus and the Bach-Chor Siegen under Ulrich Stötzel—and has been a member of Ensemble 22 since 2020.

Since the 2025/26 winter semester, he has co-directed the University of Münster’s Ensemble 22 alongside Henrik Wilkens. As a tenor, he frequently performs as a soloist, particularly in Bach cantatas and Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium. Other engagements have included performances of Michael Tippett’s oratorio A Child of Our Time and the operetta Im weißen Rössl at the Apollo-Theater Siegen.
