Henrik Wilkens

Henrik Wilkens is pursuing a master's degree in musicology. He received his training in choral conducting from Patrick Jaskolka as part of his music education studies. He gained further significant insights for his work as a choral conductor from Dr. Ulrich Haspel, Marion Wood, and Volker Hagemann.

Henrik Wilkens has been a member of Ensemble 22 since 2019. In 2024, he took on the role of guest conductor for the ensemble's performance of Bach's Jesu, meine Freude. Additionally, he has directed the choir Troubadix Erben since 2019, regularly realizing collaborative efforts and special concert projects—including partnerships with the City-Advent in Münster and the NEUE WÄNDE festival. Alongside his studies, he works as a church musician. Since the 2026 summer semester, he has co-directed Ensemble 22 with Nils Hientzsch.
