The world of publishing has become diverse – printed, electronic or even hybrid!
Münster University offers its members various options for publishing research results and multimedia works. In doing so, it pursues the goal of sustainably supporting research and teaching in the sense of Open Science [de] and good scientific practice.
Our publication series
Authors at the University have the option of publishing their book in a digital open access version in accordance with the Berlin Declaration. The digital version is available worldwide and free of charge on the University publication server miami. They also receive a print-ready file for ordering print copies from a publisher or print service provider of their choice.

University of Münster Academic Publications
The series is published by the University and State Library (ULB) and offers authors of the University of Münster (academics or central institutions) the option of publishing a digital open access version. Scientific monographs and anthologies, conference proceedings, dissertations (evaluated with at least "magna cum laude"), research reports and commemorative publications, publication series of institutes and other types of publications are accepted. The ULB Münster reserves the right to select publications.

TESTINSTANZ: FID Benelux – Open Access Publications
As part of the DFG-funded programme Specialist Information Services, the ULB Münster has been in charge of the Specialised Information Service Benelux / Low Countries Studies (FID Benelux) since the beginning of 2016. The FID Benelux strives to make as much as possible of the relevant academic literature on the Benelux countries accessible online without restriction. To this end, the FID provides free open access publication services for e-journals and e-books to scholars in the Benelux region. Parallel print publication is also possible for an additional fee. For the first or second publication of individual articles and documents, the Benelux-Doc repository can also be used.
