Inclusive education means providing high-quality education to all students while analyzing and reducing related barriers to learning and participation. In addition to addressing structural issues within the school system, there is a demand for the didactics of inclusive teaching. Consequently, the junior research group focuses on the development and research of inclusive didactics from a transdisciplinary perspective.
The guiding principle is that no single scientific discipline—such as school pedagogy or special needs education—is solely responsible for such an endeavor; instead, other school-related domains must engage in a productive exchange. In this context, various subject-specific didactics (Fachdidaktiken) must be integrated and brought together with educational science approaches in a transdisciplinary manner.
The junior research group (NFG) aims to explore two key perspectives:
Constructive perspective: Researching how elements of inclusive lesson design can be developed while considering specific subject-related or interdisciplinary content.
Reconstructive perspective: Investigating whether and how barriers to education and participation can be dismantled for all students within inclusive classroom settings
