A.4.5 Innovation Consulting as a Career Path for Scientists
An online seminar with Alcimed
Companies face unique challenges aiming to drive and implement innovation, particularly in science- and technology-driven industries. In this interactive session, you will get to know the theory behind innovation management, get the chance to ask your questions regarding consulting as a career path for scientists, and be presented with a mini-case.
First, you will be introduced to the principles behind innovation management and the associated specific challenges – taking into consideration various angles, including project management, communication and human resources. A special focus will be placed on how a background in the natural sciences can contribute to solving these challenges. Associated with this, you will get to know Alcimed as a company. You will gain insights into the type of projects they work on and the day-to-day life of a consultant.
Second, you will have the occasion to ask questions about consulting & Alcimed, as well as you will be presented with a real-life, mini consulting case that will be solved interactively together.
