After-Work Expedition

Insights into the University of Münster

Do you know what the abbreviations SoN and MEET stand for? Or what kind of specimens can be found in the Anatomical Collection, or what’s growing in the medicinal plant garden? Have you ever been in the middle of the Limette, and are you familiar with the background of the University’s historic buildings?

A comprehensive university like the University of Münster offers a panoply of fascinating facts, unknown stories and occasionally surprises. You can experience all of this on After-Work Expeditions, which can offer you a glimpse of what lies beyond your own area of activity and into the work of more than 5,000 academic staff and almost 2,000 non-academic employees.

On these excursions to exciting and unique scientific locations at the University of Münster, you get to learn about current research topics and the diverse scope of activities at our faculties. The programme also provides ample opportunity to converse with colleagues from other areas of the University, allowing you to expand your knowledge of research, teaching and transfer at the University of Münster in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The After-Work Expeditions are jointly organised by the Innovation Office (AFO) and the Human Resources Development department of the University of Münster.
