Entrepreneurial spirit requires creativity, diligence, courage and a great deal of patience. In order to start a company, one needs a supportive environment and inspiring role models – only then can innovative ideas translate into practical application. Each year, more and more cutting-edge enterprises are founded by alumni of the University of Münster, bringing promising research advances to the market.
To increase this number, the Sibylle-Hahne-Founders-Academy is committed to infusing entrepreneurial spirit into the University's academic programmes. The event series aims to gets students interested in the subject of business start-ups at an early stage. In a practice-oriented manner, it supports students with developing their creative ideas and provides them with the necessary expertise.
The Founders Academy is a joint project by the Innovation Office and the Alumni Club of the University of Münster, and is sponsored by the Sibylle-Hahne-Foundation. The foundation was established 24 years ago by its namesake, the entrepreneur Ms. Sibylle Hahne of Datteln.
