Beschreibung

The follow up of the NCCR phase 2 project on cleavages, governance and media in metropolitan areas aims at shedding more light on the political behavior and attitudes in newly emerging multi-level structures, focusing on metropolitan areas and the role of the news media therein. It builds up on the results from phase 2 and uses collected information on institutional designs, media markets and media content in European metropolitan areas.
These data will be linked with survey data on citizens’ political attitudes and behavior.
