What’s it about?
In June of each year, the Career Services organises a one-day recruitment event at the University of Münster at which students from various subject areas can make contact with employers of their choice as required. The ‘Career Talk’ event is designed as a closed event, in which only previously registered applicants can take part, with a clear focus on forging useful contacts.
What do we offer?
Employers have the opportunity to get to know students and graduates of the University of Münster through personal discussions and to recruit them for their businesses.
Process
The Career Talk is announced and employers are introduced in advance in the Career Service‘s print and online publications. Organisation of the event and the application process are dealt with by the Career Services with the involvement of participating employers.

Workshop at the Careers Service

The WWU Career Services is happy to collaborate with locally, nationally and globally active employers. We would like to cover the broadest possible spectrum and are looking to collaborate with employers from areas such as industry, culture, the media and public services.
This collaboration is an important component in creating a strong bridge between the university and working worlds.
To this end, as part of its semester programme the Career Services, in collaboration with employers, regularly organises events such as the following:
- Company excursions
- Business simulations
- Workshops
- Talks by professional practitioners
- Company presentations
In addition, project days at employers for which course credits can be given can be organised
within the framework of Bachelor’s degree courses. When planning such events, we generally organise them such that they are open to students from all faculties.
