The Hungarian and US elections have thrown into sharp relief that Christian Nationalist movements are domestic, as well as transnational and global players. This lecture discusses how these movements are beginning to transform the world: what is their footprint within the formation of new social imaginaries, within religious movements, within the development of constitutionalism, and within the context of the liberal international order? The lecture also explores limits to the Christian Nationalist project: what do the Hungarian elections tell us about the future of Christian Nationalism?
