EU Mentoring Network finds a new organizational home at the Zukunftslabor

As of April 2025, the EU Mentoring Network at the University of Münster has been relocated to the Zukunftslabor. Originally launched in 2023 at the Europa Center, the program has since successfully supported two cohorts of outstanding mentees. With the move, the network returns to its conceptual roots, as it was initially developed at the Zukunftslabor.

The EU Mentoring Network aims to support excellent researchers in securing funding from the European Research Council (ERC). At the heart of the program is a structured, individualized mentoring process – from the initial project idea to the selection interview. Each mentoring team consists of two experienced applicants and experts from the Münster-based European Research Services GmbH (ERS). The program is complemented by workshops, proposal-related consultations, and a peer exchange format.

The Zukunftslabor now oversees the organizational coordination of the EU Mentoring Network. The new contact person is Dr. Agnes Laba (agnes.laba@uni-muenster.de).
