Studies

Can you also study on the Studiobühne? Yes!

The studio stage hosts courses, primarily in the philological disciplines, for which the "stage" setting is relevant – and in some cases even indispensable. The range of courses extends from classes in General Studies or career-oriented skills to literary studies and theater practice seminars, all the way to project-oriented courses such as those on radio drama or drama pedagogy.

In the summer semester of 2026, for example, the following courses will take place on the Studiobühne: stage training with Julia Neumann, the quick-wittedness class with Ulrich Nebert, and the playing and speaking class with Andrea Kresimon (all offered as part of the Career-Oriented Skills program). Julia Bodenburg will explore and test the relationship between theater and democracy in her course (Advanced Module in Literature, German Studies), and Dominik Schrage will hold several sessions of his seminar on contemporary French theater (Romance Studies) on the studio stage.
