Final-year films from the Master’s programme in ‘Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices’
26 November 2026
6.00 pm
Admission: free
Three English-language final-year films by graduates of the international Master’s programme ‘Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices’ at the University of Münster Professional School will be screened at the Studiobühne on the evening of 26 November. Among other things, the individual films offer viewers an insight into Yakshagana as an expression of identity and community far from home, as well as the story of a Palestinian filmmaker in Lebanon who, through his footage shot during the 2024 war, explores the themes of survival, resilience and the preservation of shared memory. The evening will be hosted by lecturers from the degree programme. Between the presentations of the individual projects, there will be brief discussions with the filmmakers. The discussions will take place in English and can be translated.
