The Invisibles
July 4 & July 5, 2026 | 5:30 p.m. (Entrance: 5 p.m.)
In this new production directed by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Milad Karimi, students of Islamic Theology explore questions of identity, the body, power, and self-assertion. The play takes place in a closed room where six women and a poet struggle with language, memory, and names. What remains of a person when labels crumble? What happens when voices fall silent and return? Through condensed dialogues, choral passages, and poetic texts, a concentrated stage space emerges between silence and new beginnings. Persian poetry intertwines with existential monologues. Mechanical movements give way to self-empowerment. Step by step, the focus shifts from suffering to the conscious appropriation of voice, body, and time. “The Invisibles” is a theatrical evening about invisibility and dignity, about survival in the gaze of others, and about the moment when women say: “We are here!”
