I'm Next Door – Two Monologues by Ingrid Lausund

In its new production, the theatre ensemble hysteria engages with the tragicomic texts of Ingrid Lausund (author of "Der Tatortreiniger" [Crime Scene Cleaner], among others) and brings them to the studio stage in a distinctive spoken-word performance. Lausund's Monologues for Home reveal the flip side of IKEA cosiness, the compulsions and dark depths lurking within one's own four walls. What lies in wait inside — the inner voices that judge, inhibit, and unsettle — is closely examined by Hysteria in the monologues "Bild" (Picture) and "Esstisch" (Dining Table). A look at unfulfilled longings, disappointed expectations, and small acts of resistance.
