The War of the Worlds, based on H.G. Wells
The iconic saga of the threat to humanity posed by an alien, technologically superior force is interwoven with the contemporary question of tech ideology in conjunction with fascist thinking. Which concepts are pitted against one another? A dystopian textual landscape, blending old and new texts, is fused with visual and audio art to create a fast-paced theatre production. A new theatrical adaptation with a new musical score by Udo Herbst and Johannes Dolezich.
