HUMAN NATURE

In their new theatre project, the ensemble explores a wide range of issues, from the new rearmament strategy to the intensive reforestation of devastated regions; from new technologies to the lives of indigenous peoples in India who can neither read nor write; from regional profit-driven thinking to global sustainability goals; and the question of human nature and our relationship with nature.

 

Based on research carried out in India, Ghana, Kenya and Europe, the project explores the similarities, differences and challenges faced by people in different cultures, as well as their artistic expression through dance and theatre scenes. The setting is a seminar room; at the start, the ensemble is chatting around a coffee table whilst waiting for the representative from Germany, who is stuck in a traffic jam…
