The Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 858 hosts the Münster Symposium on Cooperative Effects in Chemistry...in 2021! The members of the SFB 858 are very grateful to all invited lecturers scheduled for the 2020 edition to accept our renewed invitation for 2021.
We would like to invite you to exciting plenary lectures, to contribute with your results within an extensive poster session, or to receive one of the MS_CEC Young Researcher Awards for an outstanding scientific paper. Visit the Münster Sympoisum on Cooperative Effects in Chemistry as one highlight within the scientific calendar. Attendance is free.

Applying for MS_CEC Young Researcher Awards 2021
The SFB 858 invites you to apply for the MS_CEC Young Researcher Awards. The prizes are awarded for outstanding scientific papers in the fields of Molecular Chemistry, Catalysis, Nano Materials, Surface Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Theoretical Chemistry.
If you are a PhD student, a postdoc or a junior group leader and if you are named as first author on your publication, then please apply: Submit
- a copy of the publication, along with
- a short summary (one paragraph) detailing your contribution, along with
- your CV.
Application deadline: N.N. 2021 (sfb858@wwu.de, Subject: MS_CEC Young Researcher Awards 2021).
The awardees will be invited to give a short talk on their contribution (see schedule).
Applying for Presenting a Poster
If you want to present a poster, please submit a summary (pdf) by N.N. 2021 (Subscription deadline) via sfb858@wwu.de (Subject: MSCEC Poster 2021).
The summary should at least provide the following information:
- Title of the poster
- Full given and surnames of all contributors, indicating the presenting author
- The abstract paragraph (continious text)
- Ideally, at least one figure/scheme for illustration
- References (cited literature and own publications)
The poster session (more than 2 hrs.) is one of the MSCEC highlights and the best posters will be awarded with the MS_CEC Poster Prizes.

If you want to attend the symposium without poster contribution, please register by N.N. 2021 (Registration deadline) via sfb858@wwu.de (Subject: Registration MSCEC 2021) providing your name and your institution.
