Metastasierungsmechanismen von Ewingtumoren: Der wichtigste Risikofaktor für die Prognose von Patienten mit Ewingtumoren ist die primäre Metastasierung. Um die Mechanismen der Progression und Metastasierung von Ewingtumoren in vivo zu untersuchen, wurde in Münster ein geeignetes Mausmodell für humane Ewingtumoren entwickelt. An diesem Modell sollen die Mechanismen der Ewingtumormetastasierung (u.a. Homing ins Knochenmark) in vivo untersucht und neue diagnostische Verfahren zum Nachweis des metastatischen Phänotyps entwickelt werden.
