Our research concerns photonic quantum technologies for a future quantum internet. We develop quantum light sources as well as spin-photon interfaces based on semiconductor quantum dots, emerging 2D materials, or fluorescent proteins. Using the generated light states, we are implementing quantum information protocols in laboratory- and field-experiments, which can ultimately be scaled to large-scale quantum networks.
We publish in reknowned scientific journals and additionally contribute to the literature of our discipline through review articles, book chapters, and patents.
