    Bachelor's degree in Media Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum with a minor in Economics and a minor in Media Studies and Indigenous/Xwulmuxw Studies at the Vancouver Island University. Bachelor of Arts in 2022 on the topic ‘In the milieu of the border. Migration dynamics and the border regime of the European Union.’ (Prof. Dr. Friedrich Balke, Prof. Dr. Simon Rothöhler). Until 2025, Master's degree in Communication Studies at the IfK, University of Münster, with the thesis: ‘What about the good news? Hopeful journalism as the key to climate action’ (Prof. Dr. Nina Springer, Jun. Prof. Dr. Jakob Jünger). Since April 2025, research associate in the Digital Media & Computational Methods group under Jun. Prof. Dr. Jakob Jünger. In cooperation with the Digital Academy of the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz, he is also involved in the epigraphic project for German inscriptions and the expansion of NFDI4Culture. Previously, SHB worked in the areas of digital media & computational methods and journalism research I under Prof. Dr. Nina Springer.
