(14.05.2025) The new Fellow at the Centre for Research on Digital Public Spheres has arrived in Münster from the United States: Prof. Dr. Seth Lewis from the University of Oregon (USA) is currently visiting the IfK.
Seth C. Lewis is a professor, director of journalism and holder of the Shirley Papé Chair in New Media at the University of Oregon. As part of the fellowship, Seth Lewis will be visiting Münster until 31 May 2025, giving lectures and participating in workshops and departmental research dialogues. On 20 May 2025 at 1 p.m., Lewis will talk about his work on trust in the Journalism Research lecture. Lewis will also take part in the Department 06 research dialogue on 28 May 2025 on the topic of ‘Autocratic Attacks on Free Speech and Free Science’.
