Statutes

According to its statutes, the purpose of the association is to promote science (research and teaching) in the field of communication theory, research, and practice. The association aims to ensure that appropriate conditions are created for the science and practice-oriented study of communication science in Münster and that the results of the academic work at the IfK are made accessible to a wider public.

When applying for financial support from the association, the applicant should clarify how the proposed project aligns with the association’s statutes.

The statutes of MedienAlumni can be downloaded here [GERMAN].

The members of the association represent its central element - the network of former and current students and lecturers at the IfK. At the beginning of 2018, this network consisted of almost 330 members.

All members of MedienAlumni can apply for financial project support in accordance with the association’s statutes. In addition, all members receive regular information by email about current MedienAlumni projects and events at the IfK. Of course, alumni are also invited to events organised by the association and to celebrations at the department.
