Exchance with Refugee Law Clinic Hamburg and Columbia Law School

The project "Rights on the Move" is a cooperation between the University of Münster, the Refugee Law Clinic Hamburg and the Columbia Society of International Law of Columbia Law School in New York. Students spent one week each in the guest cities - Hamburg and New York - working on a Pro-bono-Project. The project is provided by a NGO and deals with questions regarding migration and refugee law. 

Critical reflections on law and legal sciences

Since 2023, student-organized lecture series on critical legal studies have been held during the summer semester, under the supervision of the chair.

Sommerakademie Feministische Rechtswissenschaft

The Sommerakademie Feministische Rechtswissenschaft (summer academy for legal gender studies) was held for the first time at this deparment in 2021. In 2026, the summer academy will take place for the sixth time in Halle (an der Saale).
