Guest IDs
If your institution hosts guests, they can apply for a guest ID to gain access to university services. This is done via a so-called K application.
Note: The processing of the application is accelerated if you announce guests to IVV1 before submitting the application.
In addition to the usual application, you will also find instructions on how a guest gets access to a mailbox and a domain account.
Info: In order for a guest to be able to log on to an institute computer, they need a domain account (u0ivv1am) and must be a member of the corresponding institute group.
Guest ID application
K-Application
You can find the link to the application here.
The data entered must be the guest's data. The guest should always complete the application himself, as a password must be set later on.© IVV1 Select ivv1 = IVV1 Support as Gruppenleiter and provide a brief explanation of the purpose of your application. The host institute should also be stated there. After reviewing the company regulations, confirm the correctness of the data with 'JA' in the corresponding field.
Then read the data protection declaration and give your renewed consent to these regulations by entering 'JA' in the corresponding field.
The next step is to set the password for the ID. You can use this to log in to the IT portal as soon as you have received your ID. It is therefore essential that you remember it. Finally, you will need to solve a math problem to ensure that the application has indeed been completed by a human being.
NOTE: Your application has now been submitted to IVV1 for approval. The application will be processed more quickly if IVV1 has already received the information in advance that a K application has been submitted by a guest and that this needs to be approved.© IVV1 Application approval
As soon as the application has been confirmed and approved by the host institute, the CIT will create an identifier and send this information to the e-mail address specified in the application.
You should now be able to log in to the IT portal with this ID.
There you have to set an OTP and, if you want to use the services, the network access password and a copier pin.© IVV1 Guest request mail and domain account
As soon as the guest ID exists, IVV1 can activate the guest account for the mailbox and add it to the domain. To do this, the host institute should call us or send us an e-mail. Alternatively, a request can also be made in the IT portal.
To do this, log in to the IT portal and navigate to “University ID (account) and group memberships” and then to “Request new membership”.© IVV1 Finalize application
